Well considering it is Friday of Week 33 and I am just now posting Week 32 so you can imagine how the last few weeks have went... crazy and fast! No complaints here :) Week 33 was filled with the circus, pictures, a weekend up North and a "official scheduled" date to leave Afghanistan (and it is less than a month away!!)
Two of the cutest kids I know!
Our busy week last week started with a photo shoot by a good friend of mine who happens to be a photographer. We won a free session with her while attending a benefit for the Wounded Warrior project for a friend of hers who was a Marine and had died earlier this year. She does amazing work and the pictures turned out beautifully! Check out a few of the sneak peak from the last post here! Or check out my Facebook there are a ton there as well! Truly amazing!
On Thursday we were lucky enough to attend the circus in Point Place thanks to my Aunt Kim! After a long day at work I was not exactly about the circus but Audrey could not wait so out to the circus we went! She had a lot of fun! She was the perfect age... some of the littler kids could not enjoy it as Audrey did. I am really glad we went.
Mouth full of licorice
Sno cone!
The circus was fun. A little strange to me but the women on the ribbons at the top of the tent were amazing and the animals were cool although I am sure PEDA was all over this! Nonetheless, we had a good night :)
After a few more days at work we took a last minute trip up North from Saturday night until Monday. It was a bit cooler up there but we had fun and its nice to go up there and not have to worry about anything while spending time with the family.
Audrey and Carter both fell asleep on the couple hour drive up. I love this picture!
We got to hang out with this cute baby all weekend! Baby fever taken care of :)
Monday we rented a boat for a day even though it was a little chilly we still had fun. My dad won't buy a boat... some nonsense about we aren't up there enough to use it but when we can we rent a pontoon for the day and take it out on the lake! Works for us :)
Driving with Grandpa
Carter's boat attire. He just hung out in his bouncy and enjoyed the wind in his face! What an amazing baby he is... Audrey was never like this. He sleeps more at night than Audrey does now or ever has.
This American flag in the middle of the lake. Breathtaking...
Just hanging out being cute!
And of course dance parties!!

So it wasn't 90 degrees but everyone got in the lake except for Audrey and we had a fun day out on the boat.Back to reality this week and we have already had a pretty sick kid (could have been the cold lake weather) and a busy schedule. And looking forward to the weekend I am working a bit then it is my Grandmas 80th birthday party! What an amazing woman she is! And school starts next week... I cannot say I am excited about this as I was before. I only have 3 classes to finish out before graduation but with everything else going on, school is the last thing I want to stress about. But it must be done so I will make time.
As of right now Chris is scheduled to fly out of Afghanistan in the first week of September! That is only 3 weeks away! So with travel and having to stop in Mississippi for a few days we should see him in a month! So hopefully only 4 more weekly updates :) Which will be nothing considering this is the 32nd update since he left in January and its been almost a year since he left for training. What a year it has been! And it is almost over :) Family vacation is booked, Eric church tickets are bought for our weekend in Cincinnati, scheduling plans for homecoming are underway, this is the time we have been waiting a year for! And it is almost here! So just a few more weeks of work and school then some relaxing and a break from reality! Stay tuned for the end of this long journey which is getting so closer and closer :)
Yay!! Definitely happy for you guys. <3
