Name Tape Bracelet

Found another great idea via Pinterest that linked to name tape military bracelets sold on Etsy. Super cute! But defiantly something I can make. Our laundry room is our military storage room. I think there is more military stuff back there than laundry! Anywho, I figured if I went searching through black boxes of ACUs, boots, and all other kinds military equipment I would find an old name tape. It really didn’t take me long.

I do not know really how to sew to well. I mean I could sew a hole in Audrey's shirt if needed but nothing fancy. So it took a minute to figure out how I would clasp it. I went to find a clasp from Audrey's bead bracelet set but that also meant I would have to sew it and the material of the name tapes are really thick and really hard. So hot glue gun it was! Ya now, that thing comes in handy for everything!

I had the ribbon and I just hot glue gunned two pieces to the end of the name tape.

And done! They were selling these on Etsy for 20 bucks! Granted, they had fancy little ribbons and charms but this took me 5 minutes and it was free! My kind of idea!

Not something that is practical to wear everyday like the paracord bracelet but it is cute for sometimes. Not to bad for a virtually free bracelet! Thanks Pinterest for the idea!
