Turns out this whole thing is over the FRG post that was shared on Chris' Facebook last week. I assumed it was from the bashing the of 37th but I guess that is okay. I emailed the FRG yesterday requesting any information and laying our my dissatisfaction with the whole thing. After defending the FRG I was told to "...wait for your soldier to take the time to call you." Ha, take the time to call me? Really?! Like he is avoiding me or something. Made me laugh.
So to clarify everything so I am not posting any false information, Chris DOES have phone privileges but he must be supervised. They have only taken away his "extra" privileges. I have now received an email from the Captain because I am sure that my email was forwarded to him but at least he was able to give me some information. Chris did call yesterday but I was at work. I do not feel like I am being that overreacting wife but simply just looking for information. So this will probably be the last post about this whole situation. It has done nothing but give me a headache. My soldier is safe and maybe I cannot talk to him daily but that's how I expected this deployment to go anyways. I am still not thrilled at the way it was handled but there is nothing I can do about it from here.
