Update!

Thank you everyone who has sent support and love for our family over the last few days. Chris and his guys are fine and here at home life is back to normal! Was not exactly prepared for that little riffle in the middle of the week but everything is fine. I know that the FRG wants to keep families up to date on information but I am better off not knowing unless something happens to my soldier directly. So after a foggy few days everything was fine. I was able to talk to Chris the next morning and talked to him today for a minute via message. My nerves settle much more when I hear from him more frequently. I turned on the news to check the weather this morning and did see 2 more American troops were killed in Afghanistan. God bless them and their families. (This is why I do not watch the news) What a sad and stressful situation in Afghanistan right now. It makes me so sad that Chris is there during this but I know there is nothing I can do other than pray and wait for his return.

I am now quite sick now also. I know that you cannot get sick from stress but I am sure that it lowers your immune system and this fluctuating weather isn't helping. I have not ran all week and my head feels like it has been pounding for 3 days now. We are on spring break next week so I am looking forward to a day or so "off". So again thank you to everyone who has sent kinds words, text messages, phone calls, thought and prayers for our family and our troops. We are so blessed to have people like you in our lives and we love you all! Thank you!
