I stumbled across this cute little blog that had this great list of Thanksgiving crafts. Here is the link Mamas Like Me. So I thought we would give one a go each night of November that way once Thanksgiving gets here we have tons of fun crafts done. Okay, let be realistic this will probably not happen every night with our schedule but it sounds fun and it gives Audrey something to look forward to. Also, here in a few weeks we will be starting Christmas crafts but there is a great list for to pick from for preschoolers to finish out the fall. So tonight we did hand and foot turkeys!
So funny how cute these crafts turn out as Audrey starts to get older because she has virtually no help from me. To me, this looks like an alien to her its "Bob the Turkey".
I traced her hands on construction paper and her foot on the brown for his body. I cut them out and she did everything else.
Bob the Turkey has made his home in our kitchen where he will stay until we welcome the actual turkey come Thanksgiving Day.
