Our friends, the Rufs stationed way out in California sent Audrey a wonderful Easter package! Craft stuff, fake tattoos and candy... what more could a 3 year old want?!
These are the things that get us through this deployment! Things to keep us busy and things to keep us chugging along on this journey. To know that someone on the other side of the country is thinking about Audrey and I is absolutely amazing!!
Oh, she was in heaven!
We didn't have much time before Easter to crack into the crafts but with them being Spring type things we dove right into the box this week.
Oh, did I mention candy bracelets?!
The box included many different kinds of crafts to work on. So first up was a spring butterfly.
Finished project!
Next was caterpillars!
This one suggested we cut an apple in half and used that as a stamp... it was more like a paintbrush. Did not quite work how I had planned but it was fun and Audrey loved the idea to paint with. Plus, it was something different so it worked out.
Googly eyes of course!
Audrey's finished project!
I even decided to do one this time :)
With more seasonable weather here lately it keeps us inside a bit more in the evening. We even had a few snow flurries the other morning so its not quite summer here yet. So nightly crafts have made their way back into our schedule until we are able to play outside more. Thanks again to the Rufs for sending Audrey this package and always thinking about us here in Ohio :)
