Calls From Daddy

Everynight when the phone rings at all Audrey thinks it is dad and has become much more comfortable talking on the phone with him. She gets very excited and most nights when Chris calls its earlier in the evening. But last night we had went out to dinner with Cheech and Taylor then had a little play date at their house afterwards. It was going on 10 when we got home so the tiredness was starting to set in but that didn't stop her from breaking our little hearts while talking to him last night. This is one of the post where people ask for a "warning" as it is tugs on the heart strings a little bit.

The first video isn't so bad. She is just tired and you can tell.... just another night of talking to Daddy.



After she handed me the phone Chris and I talked for a few more minutes and it was starting to get late so I said, "Okay, I'll let you go." When I said that Audrey went into full blown panic mode and started screaming "Don't let him go." She grabbed the phone and started hysterically crying and this is how it ended.

This little trooper even has her hard days too. She may be beginning to understand this maybe even just a little bit.
