18 weeks down

I feel so bad lately that I have not been able to update as much as I used to :( Life has taken over and the blog has unfortunately taken a backseat. Not what I wanted to happen but Audrey, work, school, and everything else has taken over. But as 18 weeks came to a close we are so very excited about what the rest of May will bring us. Looks like the start of week 19 will bring us a very sick kid though. 

Normally on Mondays I take a real cute picture of Audrey outside by her board but this week this picture definitely seemed fitting...

As week 18 came to a close we had a very sick kid on our hands... probably a 24 hour stomach bug which included a lot of throwing up :( But she took it like a trooper and hopefully with some rest she will be back to herself within a few days. Note, the puke on the couch... 

 I also celebrated my 26th birthday last week and enjoyed a wonderful package from Chris while spending a night out with some friends! What a great birthday! Chris knew I needed a break so he had a gift card sent to me from the salon where I get my hair done. I splurge even getting my hair done there and when I see all these women leaving from their massages and facial I stare in envy. So for my birthday Chris got me an all day spa package at the salon! Massage, facial, mani & pedi, hair & makeup! What relaxing day this will be! He did very well for my birthday all the way from Afghanistan :)

Also, I was able to get out with a few friends for my birthday! These people seriously get me through my days so I was so happy to have them come out for my birthday. Mud Hens game and out afterwards.

As week 18 came to a close Chris is now at his new base where he will be until September. It always makes me nervous when they travel but they made it there without a hitch. As we continue almost half way through we have been working on our countdowns and projects for dad. Now that we have his new address the care packages will be rolling out at record speed and hopefully this last 5 months will go fast for everyone.
