20 weeks that sounds like half way through a pregnancy or in our case half way through a deployment ;) Anywho, last week when I was able to talk to Chris he said they had 16 weeks left there... great news! So maybe I should be counting the weeks that we have left rather than the weeks we have went through. Week 20 was wonderful! A three day work/school week and then off to Hocking Hills until Sunday! Although the beginning of the week started out a little stressful because we all know that getting ready for vacation is always a task... especially with Audrey. But we got through it and on Thursday we headed south to Hocking Hills. It was amazing! Sunshine, relaxation, camp fires, beaches, amazing weather and some time away with Audrey! And she did so good! A few minor meltdowns of course but she was in heaven and had herself believing that we lived there forever. After Audrey was so wonderful for this vacation I want to plan a trip to Tennessee in the fall once Chris gets home. Him and I went a few years back and it was gorgeous but I think Audrey is old enough to enjoy it down there just as much. It makes me sad how old she is but it also makes it so fun that she is to the age were she can hang out with us and we are not in the baby stage anymore.

Last week before we left Chris was able to get his WiFi figured out and we are now able to FaceTime on our phones pretty regularly. Amazing! Before we left we talked to him for about 2 hours while he was in his bed... technology really is wonderful. Because it was definitely not like this when he was in Iraq a few years ago. Audrey was so excited to see him on the screen and I think it helped everyone out, even Oliver the cat. When he heard Chris' voice he rubbed his nose on the phone and meowed as if he recognized his voice. Oliver is definitely Chris' cat, him and I never seen eye to eye. Obviously we did not have access to talk to him while down south but I was able to talk to him by Monday morning :)
Week 21will bring the craziness of summer classes but I couldn't be more excited! And by this weekend we will be relaxing again for Memorial Day weekend. We are doing a 9 mile walk for the Wounded Warrior project on Saturday and considering heading up to my dads that afternoon because it is suppose to be pretty hot this weekend. So another weekend of sunshine and relaxation is in order. I could get used to this :) No but with 3 acceleration summer classes and work, Audrey and I will be very busy this whole summer but it just makes the time go so much faster. Heck, we are almost to June!! That means only 3 months left! Only June, July & August (I am not really counting September because it wont be a full month of him being gone) So we will spend most of our days at work or school and most of our nights outside until the sun goes down. Another week over and another week beginning on this journey until September!
