19 weeks down

19 weeks! Wahoo!! We are getting there and more than half way done with this deployment!

 Week 19 was finals at school for me and after a somewhat stressful week I finished strong. 3.5 GPA! Yay! In January I blogged about how I decided to go back to school this semester and how crazy I probably was for trying to take all of these things on while Chris was deployed.  But it was the best decision I could have made! It's so great to go back and look at my mind set 4 months ago... Check it out!  8 year plan But my goal was a 3.5 GPA then and another goal was accomplished! Not to say that it didn't get stressful but some people do better under stress :) I can't believe the goal was at least a  3.5 GPA and that's exact how I finished out the semester. So a week off from school this week and summer classes start next week then a few classes in the fall and this long journey will be over :)

With finals, Week 19 was kind of a blur but we got through it alive. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend and  headed right into another busy week. Lots of playing outside and after throwing a set of clothes away after the mud fest here are another pair of pants from last week! She sure does play hard!

Three day work week for me this week then Audrey and I are taking off to Hocking Hills on Thursday for a girls weekend! And we could not be more excited! The weather is suppose to be amazing so we will spend the weekend in the sun, hiking, relaxing, and doing nothing! It sounds wonderful :)

I think the days are starting to get longer for Chris and even here I feel like time is taking a bit longer. Seems like we hit May and time just stopped... but we have to keep busy here and September will be here before we know it! Half way done! 

Also, Audrey received two gifts last week. My friend Kat from school sent her a book called Hero Dad that she picked up at a book fair! What a great tool for Audrey and what a wonderful gesture! Makes it mean that much more to think that people are thinking about Audrey! Also, our friends Jeremiah and Donna from North Carolina sent up some craft stuff and window markers! They really do make everything now don't they! How cool are window markers! Thank you to everyone who is thinking about Audrey on a daily basis and helping us get through this deployment we really do love you all!!
