I have never been able to watch war movies. I just don't like them. When my mom would obsess over Mel Gibson in Braveheart I would find something else to do. When my brothers and Chris would watch Saving Private Ryan or Full Metal Jacket I would go watch some sappy girlie movie in the other room. So with all the new movies coming out about war I just try avoid them all. I mean I sob when I see the previews on TV. The Lucky One looks really good but I know I would sob the whole time and its more like torture for me anymore. I have heard great things about Acts of Valor but again there is no way I can watch it... even alone. One thing that I do like is the music and music videos that come out with these movies. A few months back a friend of mine posted a song by Hunter Hayes from Acts of Valor on my Facebook and I love it! And recently I stumbled across this song by Keith Urban from the movie. Holy tear jerker! It shuffled onto the Pandora radio station I was listening to this morning while cleaning so of course I stop what I am doing and YouTube the video. So much for a non emotional weekend!
