Chris and I went down to Gatlinburg Tennessee a few years back and loved it! Just the two of us went and Audrey was pretty little so we were only able to get away to spend a long weekend down there. There is so much to do down there and it is so family friendly we have decided to go back... all of us! This is right up our alley.... hiking, fishing, white water rafting, and of course shopping, eating and drinking! Great vacation :) So once Chris gets back from deployment we are packing up Audrey and Hudson and taking a 7 night vacation in a beautiful cabin in the Great Smokey Mountains! It was officially booked as of yesterday and this came in the mail today...
It is the little things ya know. I mean are we finally to the point of being able to talk about life after this deployment! For so long it was struggling day to day (not that we still don't do that) but we actually have a date set for vacation and have been able to talk about life with him home :) We are getting there even if its something as simple as booking a vacation its the little things that keep us going! Three months and counting :)
